Fingal Youth Sports (Small Grant)  Scheme 2018 – Open for Applications

Are you a community, voluntary or sporting organisation working with young people based in the Fingal area? Fingal County Council Sports Office in conjunction with Sport Ireland are inviting applications for funding under the Youth Sport Small Grants Scheme (2018). This is open to Voluntary  Sporting  Organisations working with young people and based in the Fingal administrative area. Through an application form process, clubs who are affiliated recognised National Governing Body or a recognised disability organisation can apply for this grant. 14,000 additional carers are now eligible for free GP Care

Minister for Health, Simon Harris, and Minister of State for Disabilities, Finian McGrath, joined carers Moira Skelly and Rosemary Kratzchmer (both from Dublin) today at Bewley's on Grafton Street to encourage carers to register for their free GP Visit Cards at www.mymedicalcard.ie. From 1st September 2018 onwards, an additional 14,000 carers will be eligible for free GP services. Registration is now open and applies to carers who are currently in receipt of either full or half rate Carer’s Allowance or Carer’s Benefit, and who do not currently hold a medical or GP visit card.
