The centenary of the Battle of Clontarf 1014 offers a golden opportunity to have both a celebratory event and to generate positive economic activity. It also gives an opportunity to place historical significance on the area in an interesting and beneficial way for residents and tourists.
Accordingly I am inviting you to establish a core group to work on planning a successful and memorable commemoration from all perspectives.
This should ensure maximum benefit for the whole community.
The Meeting will take place on Monday 21st September at 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. in the Conference Room, Ground Floor, Northside Civic Centre, Bunratty road, Coolock.
