Deputy Finian McGrath (Ind) T.D has expressed his deepest sympathy to the family of Senator Kieran Phelan.

“The whole Dáil and Seanad are devastated by the sudden death of Kieran”, said the Independent T.D.  “He was extremely popular around the house and loved by all parties and Independents.  He was warm, friendly and a very decent man” said Finian.  “Once again my deepest sympathy to his wife, Mary and their children, family and friends,” expressed by the Dublin Northside T.D.
