€139,544 in extra funding for northside groups and schools

Deputy Finian McGrath (Ind) has warmly welcomes the €139,544 extra funding for the Northside Groups and Schools from Dormant Accounts and Rapid Leverage Funds.


This money will be used to enhance school libraries facilities, parent rooms and youth groups. Deputy McGrath has been pushing this issue as part of his vision to assist the schools and Community Sector.

The following will benefit from the grants over the next few weeks:

  • St David's C.B.S Artane (€24,600)
  • Our Lady of Consolation N.S (€11,470)
  • Coláiste Dhulaigh Coolock (€33,000)
  • St Michael's House Special School (€33,000)
  • 127th Scout Group Drumcondra (€3,750)
  • 18th Santry Dublin (€3,750)
  • 92nd St Anthony's Scout Group Clontarf (€3,750)
  • St Monica's Youth Centre (€3,673)
  • Club 4-U-Killester (€1,500)
  • 58th/85th Donnycarney Scouting Group (€3,563)
  • Irish Wheelchair Assoc. Clontarf (€1,391)
  • 5th Port Dollymount Sea Scouts (€3,750)
  • Beaumont 140th Scouts Group (€3,750)
  • Marino College, Dublin 3 (€9,347)
  • Deputy McGrath wishes them all well in the future.
