FINIAN MCGRATH T.D. MEETS TAOISEACH BRIAN COWEN
Deputy Finian McGrath has confirmed that he met the Taoiseach, Brian Cowen today, Thursday 10th July at 2 p.m. It was a positive and constructive meeting and the following matters were dealt with:
1. Cystic Fibrosis Unit at St Vincent’s Hospital which is still going ahead.
2. Appointment of a new Independent Chairperson to the Stardust Inquiry. This was agreed.
3. Dublin Bay and improvements.
4. Extra funding for Health and Disability Services.
5. Funding and grants for local projects.
Deputy McGrath thanked and praised the Taoiseach for his commitment to the agreement.
