Please be aware that the figures in the Parliamentary Standard Allowance Booklet are annual figures, i.e. for a 12 month period.
I wish to confirm that a pro rata amount will apply for period 1st March, 2010 to 31st December 2010.
The rates for a 12 month period in respect of the Public Representation Allowance is: €15,000 for Deputies (unvouched) and €25,700 for (vouched); Ministers and Ministers of State; €12,000 for unvouched and €20,000 for vouched; Senators is €9,250 for unvouched and €15,000 for vouched.
The pro rata rates applicable for 2010 are as follows for the period lst March, 2010 to 31st December, 2010.

• "A breakdown for every Senator and TD of their 'clock-in' records from 151 March 2010 - 29th April 2010"
• "Details of all pay, salary, allowances and pension paid to all Members TD's and Senators in the period 1st January 2009 - 31 st December 2009".
• "Details of all pay, salary, allowances and pension paid to all Members TD's and Senators in the period 1st January 2010 - 31 st March 2010".

Deputy Finian McGrath has called on all T.D.’s and senators to support the THINKIRISH.IE Campaign on jobs.
“It is time now for everyone to roll up their sleeves and create 20,000 new jobs” said the Northcentral T.D.
McGrath also challenged the major parties to spend locally and support small businesses. “Sitting on the pot is not an option during this tough time” added the Independent T.D. |
