Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32. 

An Ceann Comhairle: Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with a number of notices under Standing Order 32.  I call on the Deputies who are offering.

Deputy Finian McGrath: I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for Health and Children and the Minister of State, Deputy Moloney, to support all people with a disability; the need for actions and services for the 4,200 people with intellectual disabilities living in outdated institutions; for protection from neglect and abuse, and quality services for all people with disability; the need for highest standards in the supervision of services and for protection from sexual abuse, particularly in residential and day care service; and detailed accountability in respect of spending funds, the emphasis to be put on the person with the disability.
