MCGRATH CALLS FOR ACTION ON DANGEROUS WATER

Deputy Finian McGrath has called for urgent action to deal with the potentially harmful bacteria discovered in the Clontarf Water on Sunday. Our first priority has to be health safety and then families and small local businesses.

Deputy McGrath said he was raising the issue with the Minister for Health and Children, H.S.E and the Dublin City Council. “We have to get to the heart of this matter said McGrath”.

“When did the Council actually know before they informed the local residents?” asked the Dublin Bay North Independent T.D. However he also commended the Council staff for their quick response on the ground with warnings and water. However, we all have to be vigilant on this health issue added Finian.
