Funding of more than €40 million for Summer Works projects in 2019 was announced today.

This €40 million investment secures money for schools to upgrade windows, meet curricular requirements and make structural improvements to buildings. 14 schools in Minister Finian McGrath’s constituency were included in the funding. The work will be carried out in schools mainly over the summer months to minimise disruption to students, teachers and other staff. Today, Minister McGrath said:

Delighted to hear from my Cabinet colleague, Minister Joe McHugh that 14 schools in the constituency will be included in the Summer Works projects in 2019.
